1. D’amour, a restaurant full of feelings
What is it? An atmospheric restaurant in the city center
Where? 58 Cours Mirabeau, 13100 Aix-en-Provence.
When to eat there? Monday to Saturday, morning, noon and evening.
And for how much? Between 25 and 40€.
D'Amour, the new bistro and cocktail bar on the Cours Mirabeau, seduces with its warm atmosphere and discreet elegance.
With its marble tables, caned chairs and planted terrace, this friendly neo-brasserie offers an intimate setting thanks to natural materials (rattan, marble, terracotta) designed by Maison Balagne.
The menu, simple and tasty, adapts to all desires:
Lunch: Bistro dishes (Caesar salad, rigatoni, beef fillet, etc.) and gourmet desserts (pavlova, tiramisu).
Evening: Mediterranean plates to share (panisses, hummus, calamari).
For a morning break on the terrace, a quick lunch or a friendly aperitif with friends, D'Amour is the ideal address. A private room (30 people) is also available for your private or professional events.

2. Le Bouillon aixois, best value for money in the city
What is it? A bistro
Where? 29 rue de la Couronne, 13100 Aix-en-Provence.
When to eat there? Tuesday to Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday lunch.
And for how much? Between 11 and 25€ (for a full menu).
Angélique Fiore opened her retro bistro on Place des Tanneurs, making the classics of French cuisine accessible and tasty.
On the menu:
Starters: Eggs mayo, leek vinaigrette, marrow bones.
Dishes: Veal blanquette, sausage and mash, pasta shells with tomme cheese.
Desserts: French toast, crème caramel, rice pudding.
Prepared with local products (pâté croûte and sausages from Raphaël Chiappero!), the dishes combine comfort and quality, for a complete menu around €25.
The art nouveau atmosphere, seasonal Provençal recipes and soon a private cellar add to the charm of the place. If the service needs to be faster, the address remains a must for eating well without breaking the bank in Aix.

What is it? A cheese shop in a secret passage, a restaurant AND a shop
